Hoax
We've all seen this picture. It stirred many feelings in me until, as a photo
editor myself, I found a few flaws in it. After discussing this with my friend
Mike, he sent me a link to a sight that disputes many of the on-line hoaxes.
Everything from this picture to the Nostradamus predictions to the "mysterious"
WingDing symbols of the supposed airline register numbers.
One true fact is Starbucks charged ambulance workers $130 for three cases
of water intended for the injured during the search and rescue at the World
Trade Center. Check out the sight for the truth.
UPDATE In November, 2001 a Hungarian man named Peter staked
a claim to the "Tourist Guy" crown by supplying the original photograph of
himself (and other similar snapshots from the same session) and revealing that
he himself had created the infamous "Accidental Tourist" image.
